Perfect Pair (of Jeans)

What can I say? No need to explain - a pair of great-fitting dark blue or black straight jeans should be an essential part of any wardrobe. I have a pair of Levi's Slim Fit. Jeans are about one thing - they must give you a great bum, right? Those certainly do. Plus they have an absolute perfect cut (for me at least) - not too tight, not too low, just fine.
And the open-shoulder thingy is lovely =)

It can't rain forever

This spring I was so sick and tired of my long black oh-so-warm winter coat that I definitely wanted something new - colorful, light and yet warm or at least covering the neck... This coat proved to be quite useful on rainy days, cause I forever forget or am too lazy to carry umbrella. And it has this adorable balloon cut, and a slightly retro look... I've worn this coat throughout the whole spring and then in autumn I got this Topshop coat... But rainy days still mean blue hooded coat.

Lace and Leather

My husband inspired me to throw this look as a perfect way to dress for concerts. Lace and leather look weird together, but good weird :) Plus sort of post-punk Puma sneakers (mostly for jumping near the stage), which can be easily changed for a pair of high-heeled sandals.

The makeup on the second picture looks a bit funky - I was just bored... Experimenting... That was just for the concert and to take this picture anyway.
That day the concert was cancelled and we ended up on a birthday party, but it was still a great outfit ^^

Rain boots, RIP

It's getting colder, but I still can't get used to wearing long sleeves... So short sleeved sweaters covering the neck are really my thing, enough to keep me warm in late autumn/ winter. I love the cut and especially the color.

This look also features my late rain boots, for which I harboured an unrequited love... We had short, but passionate relations. It was so much fun to splash and splosh in puddles with them on... And then they broke... :( Apparently, because I splashed and sploshed too much.

Lace blouse

Bought a new, absolutely adorable lace shirt. It goes perfectly well with.. eh.. I guess everything :) I especially like it with puffed skirts and leather pants (later). This was the way I dressed up for Tiamat concert. Should have dressed down actually, but at least that was funny. I also like New Rock boots paired with a feminine light-as-feather skirt. And for the concert I also changed white tights for strippy over the knee socks and added cat ears - just for fun :)

Alice

Was just trying to wear striped over the knee socks with something which would look funky, but not stupid :) Gee, that was tricky! Loved the result though. Plus it's warmer than in regular tights (once again wearing two skirts). Frankly speaking, that time it was more about getting a bunch of nice shots than about clothes. I wanted to get pictures of me lying on green grass with yellow autumn leaves dressed in something Alice-in-Wonderland-ish. Got them - photos were amazing! And I loved the look, too.

Black & Grey & Yellow and a Touch of Turquoise

I loved the way my yellow leggings looked with lace tights, so I wanted to show more of them, cause my black pencil skirt was too long ;) I also like the combination of yellow/grey as much as yellow/black, so this striped black-and-grey dress is ideal for them. Horizontal stripes are not too flattering?  Don't know, don't care.

Black & Yellow

I've blogged about my cravings - lace tights and shiny leggings - long ago. I ordered American Apparel black leggings, but they'll be with/on me in a month... Meanwhile I've bought lace tights, and they are adorable :) Especially combined with dense colored tights, since it's rather cold now. I also love black/mustard yellow combination. I think it's almost the only way to wear yellow so it would look fab ;)

New Rock boots

Ever since I've found these new rock boots i was dying to wear them with this short plaid skirt and fishnet stockings, but didn't know where to... They are too heavy and uncomfortable to party in them ) New rock boots are weird. I mean not the way they look. The thing is they are quite expensive and really uncomfortable. My husband also has a pair of them and feels the same way. And a lot of people wear them. And nobody -evvver- admits it. Are they all masochists or what???

Silver Corsage

I was wondering whether I should post pics with these outfits here. They were shot at a studio. I don't normally dress like this, but hell, why not? I don't usually wear cat ears with a plaid short skirt and white socks either. I bought this corsage ages ago and still don't know what to do with it. I don't like the way it looks with shirts, and I don't often get a chance to wear it with nothing underneath ;) I could wear it to concerts, but the thought that I will NOT be the only freak always stops me ;) Torn stockings are entourage, so as the collar and the adorable sandals. I'm also wearing two skirts at a time, so they'd look more puffed ;)

Nerdish T-shirt

Bought yet another pair of jeans at Topshop sale. They are soft, comfortable and I feel as if I've worn them for ages and those holes are real. It's not too cold for them yet, so I enjoy them as much as I can :) I like the way they look with high boots.
I also bought yet another nerdish T-shirt with robots. :) Not only because of a cute print, but because I love grey/pink combination and it has adorable baloon sleeves (not visible on a photo though, cause I was freezing).

Purple tights

I'm not quite sure about this outfit, but I love short skirts and the way colored tights look with this one. Plus, I like to wear high boots with either tight jeans or short skirts. The longsleeve could be a little shorter though. And the purple tights are too bright, aren't they?

Black dress does not require special introduction. Moreover, there's no need to tell that  a black dress is an ideal basis for countless variations. I love to wear it with different leggings.

Military pants

There are plenty of things in my wardrobe which I can't figure out what to wear with :) These military pants are one of those. Bought them ages ago. They look great with high boots and high-heeled shoes. But I don't have many blouses or shirts, and I see them combined with something feminine. T-shirts are good, but with them the pants look kind of boring. This blouse is one of the few, and it passes to practically everything.

Halloween

On Halloween I was a cliché image of a Japanese school girl. Short checkered skirts, white socks, white shirt, you name it. Yeah, very creative, I know. I love this skirt, but my husband does not allow me to wear it to work, cause it’s too short (poor me, and poor everybody). And those sandals are real crazy, had almost no chance to wear them. Anyway, I thought they’d look quite funky together, with white socks and white shirt. Cat ears and paws are of course handmade ^^ I loved the look, too bad it’s too crazy to wear it “in real life”. I wish ears were a hot accessory %)

I've fallen in love with this high-waisted skirts at the first sight. Together with a checkered shirt and chucks it looks wonderful.

I thought that in autumn weather  with such jacket my skirt would look great, and I won't worry about cold.

Plaid dress

My sis bought me this dress. I love it, but can't quite figure out what to wear it with. A black tee is not the best choice - white shirt looks better actually, but together with white tights make me look way too younger! I'm a little worried that the skirt is not quite flattering, but I guess it bothers only me. :)

Here I'm also showing off my boots :) I've found them in a second hand shop. I totally love the way they look.

Pacman tee

Here we go again... This skirt has been hanging in my wardrobe for a long time. I've been wearing all through the last summer, a year before, with only one top, cause it does not look well with most T-shirts. And I couldn't find the right tights for it - it looks best with bare legs. I like it in this combination. And the shoes... I was looking for a couple of simple black flats, but then I saw these... You know the rest =) I absolutely love the color, and their form, and the fact that they are comfortable.

I've bought this basic black bolero cause I can't find any decent longsleeves and have too many funky tees (one of them is on me). I think it's a crime not to wear them only because I'm cold =)

As you've already understood, eyewear is essential part of my wardrobe, almost like a black dress (which I'll show you later).

Black Monday

On Friday I was at Das Ich and Gothika concert, which btw was fantastic, and saw a handful of great-looking goths. These, and the bands were quite inspiring. Temporarily black is my color of choice :) Here I'm wearing my usual Monday tee and faux leather pants. I've been craving for a pair of leather pants since like childhood (no kiddin), but they are mostly a) expensive; b) high-waisted. At last I found these, which are neither. Yeah, I know, faux leather... But I and my bum feel great in them. 

Btw, my dear photographers are pissed off about taking shots of black leather and blond hair on a sunny day. Sorry, guys, I was feeling a little goth :)

This look is somewhat Edgar Allan Poeish and gothic-inspired. The print on the T-shirt with the Raven looks almost like the background. I wanted wear this long skirt which has been hanging in my wardrobe for months, unattended. I took pity and chose a nice ensemble to go with it. Somehow it looked better with sneakers, not high heels. And I love the earrings. It's not always easy for me to choose them, cause my ears often hurt. But these are light and a real treat for my and everybody's eyes =)

I have a thing for sunglasses and hats, so when i don't know what to add to a rather boring combination of grey skinny and a white t-shirt, i add a hat and sunglasses.

This look screamed: 'I need high heels' at the top of its lungs, so I obeyed. Looks actually quite formal for my job :) I like this combination of smart and casual... At least that's what I call smart and casual :)

Retro

This is a retro-style Topshop dress, which I tried on just for fun when I was bored. It looked quite unremarkable on the hanger; I remember thinking: 'Who's wearing THAT?' But when I struggled into it, I immediately fell in love =) It's so weird and so cute... I'm wearing it with mint green vintage pumps, which look great but are reeeally uncomfortable.

Currently I'm craving for a pair of black American Apparel shiny leggings, or these Topshop wetlook leggings, which should look awful on me, but are sooooo great on skinny girls. The same goes for over the knee socks. Lace tights/leggings should be OK, though... Saturday is shopping day =)

Puma sneakers

These are my beloved Puma sneakers, which I bought on sale. They come with two sets of laces, purple and blue - so sweet of them =)
That's just a casual outfit I wear when I don't want/have no time to wreck my brains on what to wear.

I *heart* bags, but I don't like Mondays

Here I am. This black tee says: 'I don't like Monday'. At least on Mondays I don't have to worry about what to wear to work. Funny thing, I've bought it in Germany in summer before my 4th year at university, and we didn't have lections on Mondays, so I didn't have a chance to wear it often. Now I wear it to work :) Thank God we don't have any dress code whatsoever.
I've bought this bag for grocery shopping. Trying to stop using plastic bags...

Monday Tee

Today I was gonna post pics in one of my favourive t-shirts, which says: I don't like monday. I am a fan of t-shirts with freaky prints, I have quite a large collection of them. But I failed to explain what is important in this look to my photographer, so what I got was a bunch of real great shots, but you can't read what's on the tee =)

Not-So-Little Black Dress

I love this dress. I can't say it's an essential part of wardrobe, but it's something I get into, when I want my mirror to say: Wow! Gee, you look great!
Just kiddin, my mirror doesn't talk to me. I do. =)
Anyways, it's black, tight, sort of strict, with its polo neck, and sexy. I usually wear it with colored tights/leggings so I won't look too serious, especially when I wear it to work (yay, that's weird).
