Freaky winter coat

Winter is definitely not my favourite season. It's cold, you have to wear a LOT of clothes, when going for a walk you spend more time getting dressed than actually walking, you are forever sweating and look huge in those winter coats, all bundled up... I always feel like a funny little penguin or a polar bear. Whatever. You know what I mean.
So, last winter was pretty cold I guess, or what else could have forced me to buy that huuuge knee-length black winter coat... Eww.. This year winter was milder (I do hope it's almost over now) or it's just because I don't have to spend time commuting anymore... Anyway, I was suffering in that coat until I found something less warm, and absolutely funky :) Those puffed shoulders and sky blue color stole my heart. Later I dyed my hairtips and fringe pink, and this actually worked only with this coat, cause this all was so crazy it looked good together.
Yay, I still feel like a penguin in it, but at least as a cute little penguin dyed pink and blue :) In this outfit winter is quite tolerable, huh?

High heels, high boots

Last time I wanted to write about the dress.. or whatever it's called. I've been searching for something like this to wear with shirts and tees for a couple of years, just never saw the right thing (and that's not the right one, actually). Anyway, my craving grew stronger ever since I started watching Gossip Girl, which btw is now one of my most influential fashion inspirations. I just wish I could throw those outfits back at school/university.
Ok, I'm diversing. I found this dress at yet another teens' store - even the label on it says 'for girls'. I'm wearing it with all black, but some color won't hurt, especially some bright tights. With shiny leggings, high-heeled boots, and such length is kind of provocative, but not too much.
Leggings and boots combinations is also rather questionable. I just remembered I had those boots and wanted to try. I thought leather and whatever shiny material those leggings are made of would look good together. I guess I was right.

Shiny leggings

I finally got my wet look leggings, and though they look not-so-wet as I hoped, I pretty much like them. So... I'm thinking of wearing them with short dresses/tunics and shorts (looks good, honestly!). Definitely not with mini-skirts. If I were skinny I'd also tried them with some long tee or maybe shirt... But I'm not :)
Yeah, and the shoes... That's actually the only pair of heels I have at work (I wonder why :) The leggings would've looked better with some black stilletos, which I definitely need (I'm searching for a perfect pair actually). I just adore these YSL opentoed platform heels.
The best thing I like about the leggings is the way they wrinkle at knees and ankles, I find it really cute :)
Next time time I'll write about the dress (I'm not sure how it's called properly)... Which btw looks perfect with the white shirt.
